Yes, you can easily get omega 3 from flax seed. I use pre-ground flax seed, ( i get it at Sam’s Club) which is like a powder that can easily be added to juices, smoothies, cereals, salads, soups, pasta, or baked goods. 1 serving ( 2 Tbsp) provides 2700 mg omega-3. I usually mix 2 Tbsp with 6-8 oz. of grape juice in the morning.http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigat…

Is Taking Fish Oil Omega 3 Dietary Supplements Equal To Getting The Omega 3 You Need By Eating Fish?

I believe that taking fish oil supplements contains more omega-3 since you are more than likely cooking the fish in question which could eliminate some of the omega-3. While fish obviously does contain Omega 3, it is more than likely not as concentrated as the supplement. Flax seed oil actually contains more Omega 3 than Fish oil so that could actually be a replacement for your fish oil.

I hate fish. Is there any way to cook it so it doesn’t taste so, well, “fishy”? Are there alternative sources of Omega 3?
